They headed to the main building of Hongo campus.  They were invited to meet Bunkyo’s top executives, Executive President Akiko Shimada and her son, Masakazu Shimada, who was newly appointed as the Chairperson of the Board of Trustees.  They both have known Ken Murakami, a local coordinator in Santa Cruz, for a long time.  They asked Sasha and Edna how hard it would be to get a job that they really like after graduating from the ECE programs.  In their answers, they emphasized that having a special skill set will undoubtedly make them a more well-rounded ECE professional, and may increase their chance of getting a job after graduation.

その後、本郷キャンパスを訪問し、学園長と理事長にご挨拶をしました。このプログラムの仲介役をしてくれている、サンタクルーズ在住の村上健さんとは２人とも旧知の仲です。幼児教育専攻を卒業した後の就職先はアメリカではどのような状況なのかの質問に、２人の学生は特別な資格を多く持っている方が就職にも有利なため、自分たちも多くの資格を取得していることを強調していました。この後、学園長とランチもご一緒して、楽しいひと時を過ごしました。
