I met the students this morning and had an orientation session to see the overview of the schedule with them. The orientation was held at the international programs office which can be used as their waiting room during the program.
今朝は国際交流室でオリエンテーションを行い、２週間のプログラムの概要を確認しました。今後は、この国際交流室が彼女たちの控室になります。

After the orientation, we visited “Fratto (=just drop in) Bunkyo” (the Child-Care Support and Research Center) where pairs of a mother and a child aged from 0 to 2 in the neighboring community can come to play and talk with other pairs. Gloria and Michaelyn looked at toys for sensory-motor skills and seemed interested in children learning from mirror play. They also watched children playing with water outside.
オリエンテーション終了後、「ふらっと文京」（保育実践教育センター）を見学しました。「ふらっと」は大学に併設されている子育て支援センターで、近隣の親子がやって来て遊んでいます。二人とも幼児教育専攻の学生であるため、子どもたちの水遊びや鏡遊びに興味津々でした。
