All the children helped each other to get ready for their lunch by setting lunch tables and wiping tables. Finally at lunch time, Gloria learned to say “Itadakimasu” before eating.
子どもたちは、時間になるとお昼の用意をすることが分かっています。テーブルを出し、テーブルの上を拭いて、お昼の準備をみんなで協力してやっていました。そして、グローリアは「いただきます」と言う挨拶をみんなで言ってから食べ始めることを習っていました。

In this photo, the Squirrel class was almost ready to eat lunch together. Mr. Adachi, master teacher, was telling children about the whole class assignment they have to do after lunch. The children quietly listened to him before saying “Itadakimasu.”
こちらの写真はマイケリンのリス組ですが、もう少しでお昼の準備ができるところです。担任の安達先生が、今日この組の昼食後の担当の仕事について、子どもたちにお話をしていました。皆しっかり聞いてから、「いただきます」の合図でお昼が始まりました。
