Spencer enjoyed spending the last day with Kazuma at Odaiba. Odaiba is a popular shopping and entertainment district on a man made island in Tokyo Bay. Then they had Shabu Shabu for dinner. Shabu Shabu is one of Japan’s most popular hot pot dishes where the meat and vegetables are cooked in a flavorful broth. The name “shabu shabu” is Japanese onomatopoeic. It came from the sound when you stir the vegetables and meat with your chopsticks.
Spencer left for Kyoto Monday morning and will spend another week on his own in other cities in Japan before going back to California. Explore more of Japan!

スペンサーは最終日を和真君とお台場で過ごしたようです。そして夕食は「しゃぶしゃぶ」だったようですね。おいしそうです。彼は月曜日の朝には鈴木家に別れを告げて、新幹線で京都に向かいます。これからもう一週間、個人的に日本に滞在して、日本探索を続けてから、帰国するようです。
