■ Cabrillo College（アメリカ カリフォルニア州 サンタクルーズ） での海外短期フィールドワークです。
■日付は、日本時間での表記です（現地は、１日前になります）。
今年も海外短期フィールドワーク児童発達コースが、3月11日〜3月27日の日程で始まります。今年で9年目を迎える、カリフォルニア州サンタクルーズでの幼児教育実習を中心にしたプログラムです。今年は15名の児童発達学科の学生が参加します。2週間は短いようですが、多くの学生がその後の人生を変えるような経験をしてきています。今年はどんなお土産話を聞くことになるのかが楽しみです。
Early childhood education (ECE) field study program in Santa Cruz in California started from March 11 and will end March 27. This year is the 9th year of the program featuring hands-on training at Cabrillo College and the internships at local preschools and elementary schools. This year 15 students majoring in ECE participate in the program. Two weeks may not be long enough for students to learn substantially but this internship program has been a life changing experience that has made many students realize they can do so much more than they ever thought was possible. We look forward to hearing back from them about their amazing experiences this year as well!

いつもの成田からではなく、今年は羽田空港からサンフランシスコへと旅立ちました。行ってきます！
We left the Haneda Airport for San Francisco at 7:45pm. See you in about two weeks!

9時間のフライトは長かったけれど、全員無事サンフランシスコに到着。ローカルコーディネーターの一人であるケンさんに迎えてもらいました。
After 9 hour flight, we safely arrived in the San Francisco airport. We met Ken, one of the local coordinators.
