セレモニーが終わった後は、外でのピザランチの準備をみんなで行いました。皆さんとても協力的でしたね。ちょうどランチタイム時に、日が差し始め外で食べるピザには最高の天気となりました。
After the ceremony, the weather turned from cloudy and chilly to warm and sunny. It became perfect for outdoor Pizza lunch.

日本語のクラスの学生がたくさん集まってくれ、交流を楽しみました。日本語と英語でのやり取りを通してお互いをより理解しようとしていたようです。新しい言葉や文化を学ぶことは、自分の世界を広げることになり、世界には多くの異質なものがあることを教えてくれます。とにかく、たくさん話して慣れることしかないようです。「習うより慣れよ」です！
Quite a lot of students taking Japanese I and II came to join us for language exchange over a Pizza lunch. The students from Bunkyo and Cabrillo mingled to get to know each other using both languages. Learning about new languages and cultures helps expand your horizons, and shows you the differences around the world. Talk a lot with many people, and you’ll get used to it. Practice makes perfect. Keep trying, students!
