2018/03/14
午前中はカブリヨ大学子どもセンターを訪問しました。乳児、幼児前期、幼児後期の3つのクラスを、カブリヨ大学の幼児教育の実習の責任者でもあるJeanの案内で見て回り、その後は3つの部屋で観察実習をしました。各観察室は、カブリヨ大学の幼児教育学科の学生がたくさんいて、真剣にフィールドノートを取りながら観察課題に取り組んでいる様子が見受けられました。ここの施設では写真撮影は一切禁止なため、子どもセンターの入り口での記念撮影のみです。
We visited Cabrillo Children’s Center. Jean, ECE faculty, gave us a tour. The students went to three observation rooms for Infants, Toddlers, and Preschoolers to observe the children and teachers as well as classroom settings and teaching materials. There were many Cabrillo students who were observing and taking notes seriously in each room. We are not allowed to take photographs in the center, so we took some in front of the center.

今日はあいにくの雨で、外でお昼が食べられないのがとっても残念です！しかたなく、混雑しているカフェテリアで、家から持ってきたランチをいただきました。どれもおいしそうですね！
Unfortunately, it was raining today. So they had to have their lunches in the school cafeteria. It was pretty crowded. They all looked delicious!
