2日前に最初の昼食の写真をアップしたときに、載せられなかった二人の写真です。ホストマザーが作ってくれたランチはおいしそうですね。
The photo of the first lunch for these students was missing two days ago, so here is the one. They enjoyed their lunch their host mother made.

午後からは、初級の日本語クラスを参観に行きました。カブリヨ大の学生と一緒に座って授業を受けました。先生が日本語で言っていることを完璧に理解できることが、何と気持ちがいいことでしょう！ネイティブスピーカーとしての優越感さえ感じたのではないでしょうか。
This afternoon we visited a beginning Japanese class. Bunkyo students were sitting with Cabrillo students. Bunkyo students felt so good and even a sense of superiority whenever they understood completely what the teacher said in Japanese!

日本語で「終わった人は手を挙げてください」と元気な声で言いながら、文京の学生の一人が先生の代わりに、ワークシートを誇らしげに集めていました。
One of the Bunkyo students helped the teacher collect the worksheets by saying “Raise your hand when you finished” in Japanese.

その後、グループに分かれて日本語のお手伝いをしました。このグループでは「私はだれ」のゲームを、日本語と英語の両方と使ってやりました。初めてあった人同士が自然に打ち解けるのに適したゲームのようです。
In a group activity, the students played a “Guess who I am” game. This game made both parties more fun to break the ice with each other speaking in Japanese and English.
