【2018年 海外短期フィールドワーク 児童発達学科 報告10-4】

2日間の小学校（Kクラスを含む）実習を終え、最後はカブリヨにもどり、振り返りをしました。日本との違いや類似点、驚いたこと、部分実習の反省点など、一人ずつ話をしてもらいました。3つの学校の差、年齢の差、先生の差などで、学生たちの感想は多種多様でした。詳しくは報告書に書いてもらいますが、少しだけ例をあげると、一斉授業とグループ授業、時間の使い方の柔軟さ、教室の清掃について、教科書と教師の作るワークシート、公私混同などについて多くの話し合いができました。
After class all the students came back to #1520 classroom for a feedback session. They talked about how they felt and what they learned in the classroom where they stayed for two days. For instance, differences between schools in the two countries are seen in classrooms and during classes: the style of teaching (a whole class vs small group activities), the structure of schedule (rule-governed vs flexible in time), classroom cleaned by children vs a janitor, and using a fixed textbook vs materials and worksheet made by teacher. Besides many similarities, there are striking contrasts between American and Japanese views and visions of education. See more details in their written paper later.
