6人の学生がシムカ保育所で、同じく2日間の現場実習をしました。このような「ようこそ日本からの学生さん」というボードを玄関に出してくれていました。

Six students had their internships at Simcha Preschool.  The front door welcome sign helps add an inviting atmosphere as it displays “Welcome our students from Japan”

一日のスケジュールが写真入りで貼ってあります。こちらのコーナーでは、担任の先生が子どもたちに読み聞かせをしていました。その様子が身近で見られます。

This is a toddler class schedule with some pictures.  In this corner, the teacher was reading a book to children.

こちらの子どもたちは、先生の読み聞かせの真似をお互いにやっていました。誰かによく読んでもらう経験をした子どもは、一人で真似をしたり、人形に読み聞かせの真似をしたりして、字は読めなくてもふり遊びを楽しみます。

These girls were pretending to read a book to each other.  Children who have been read to frequently will pretend to read books to themselves and to their toy dolls, using their own words or phrases from the story.
