【2018年 海外短期フィールドワーク 児童発達学科 報告12-2】

こちらの二人は「直前Kクラス」での実習です。紙コッピと新聞紙でけん玉を作るところから始めました。なかなかできない子もいれば、割と簡単にできる子もいて、様々ですが、作ったけん玉で遊ぶのは楽しかったみたいです。ちょっと遊び方が違っていた子どももいましたが、コツをつかむと何度もカップに玉を入れて、満足そうな子もいましたね。
These two students were in the Pre-K class. They presented a project where they made Kendama (cup-and-ball game). Kendama is a traditional hand-held toy long enjoyed in Japan by people of all ages. In this class, they made Kendama with paper cups. It was a little difficult to make it but they enjoyed playing with it.

このプリスクールクラスに入った二人は「カブト」づくりをしました。子どもたちの様子をみていて、新聞紙からカブトを折っていく過程が難しいという判断から、すでに作ってあるカブトを渡し、それに色を塗ってもらうという活動したのは賢明だったと思います。出来上がったカブトを実際にかぶれるのはよかったようです。
In the preschool class, these two had a Kabuto project. They realized that it might be too difficult for the children to make their own Kabuto (Samurai helmet), using a piece of newspaper. So they told them to color their paper helmets instead. After that, they could actually wear on their head.
