今回は毎年秋に行われる「インターナショナルウィーク」に関してのレポートです。各国の留学生が日替わりで自分の国の紹介をしたり、アメリカ人留学生が「アイスクリームソーシャル」を行う様子をご紹介いたします。
ちなみに、あまり聞きなれないアイスクリームソーシャルですが、アメリカではポピュラーな行事で、アイスクリームを食べながらお話を楽しむ親睦会のことです。今回は文京生にクイズを出し、正解できたらアイスをプレゼントする企画を行い、大いに盛り上がりしました。

International Week is a special time at BGU for the Multilateral Program and the　students.During the week, the International students have a chance to host some events that introduce themselves to the BGU students and faculty.The speeches are held on most of the days of the week during lunch time and reprentatives of each country give a presentation sharing their culture and country with the BGU students.This year, we had 7 groups presenting on the United States, Turkey , Bulgaria, Kazahkstan, Uzbekstan, Malaysia, and Taiwan.

The other big event is the Ice Cream Social hosted by the students from the US. For the last couple of years, they have been coming together and sharing ice cream with BGU students and staff alike. It has been a great success and a lot of fun for everyone. Definitely one of the highlites of the week.
